Bound in publisher's beige cloth stamped with black and blue lettering and designs, decorated endpapers, with less wear than is normally seen on this edition, clipped first state dust jacket with some staining, chipping and small closed tears. No previous owner markings. 

Attractive copy of the author's beloved book, beautifully illustrated by Garth Williams (who also illustrated White's Stuart Little) a barnyard story which has enchanted generations of readers since it was published in 1952.
