First edition, Near Fine book with brown decorated cloth with silver, black and gold lettering and designs to cover and spine. Profusely illustrated in black and white and color with full page and inline illustrations by an unknown artist.  Beveled edges to the front and back boards add an intricate detail. Binding and pages are square and tightly bound as if never read. Pages are crisp and clean, light edge and corner wear. Book not issued with a dust jacket. Previous owner inscription written neatly on front endpaper. A stunning book from the 1800s in exceptional condition.
