A rare, leather bound, copyright edition of Charlotte Brontë's most famous gothic novel in two volumes, Jane Eyre. Following the trials and tribulations of the eponymous heroine's life. Author is given as Currer Bell to the title pages.

Half vellum binding with marbled paper to the boards and beautiful 22 karat gold accents. Externally, generally smart. Light marks to the boards and spines, some edge and corner wear. Minor rubbing to the boards. Internally, firmly bound, pages are age-toned and clean with a few odd spots and a couple of light handling marks. Previous owner markings to front endpapers, no other previous owner markings. Overall, the books are in exceptional condition for books from 1850.

Books measure approximately 4 inches by 6 inches by 1 1/2 inches together.
