First edition set, early printings in original dust jackets. Books in Near Fine condition with minimal signs of wear and crisp pages. Dust jackets are also Near Fine, bright and clean, minimal wear, small piece of tape less than one inch on back of dust jackets to fasten original archive covers, now replaced with removable archive covers.

Included in this set:

    1. The Book of Three, Book 1: Near Fine book in publisher's bright purple cloth with white and black stamping, bumping to upper corners and some wear to other corners, pages slightly toned and crisp, small spot on front endpaper. Near Fine dust jacket, clipped, with some toning and the original price written in pencil on the front flap.  
    2. The Black Cauldron, Book 2: Near Fine book in publisher's bright red cloth with white and black stamping, some scuffing to front and back boards, corner wear. Near Fine dust jacket, clipped, with some toning.
    3. The Castle of Llyr, Book 3: Near Fine book in publisher's bright bluish-green cloth with dark green stamping, bumping to upper corners, very light wear with lightly toned crisp pages. Near Fine dust jacket, unclipped with some toning. 
    4. Taran Wanderer, Book 4: Near Fine book in publisher's bright blue cloth with navy stamping, some corner wear, small spot to inside title page either a publishing defect or spot where a small sticker was removed. Near Fine dust jacket, clipped, some toning.
    5. The High King, Book 5: Near Fine book in publisher's bright blue cloth with black stamping, some corner wear, small spot to inside title page either a publishing defect or spot where a small sticker was removed. Near Fine dust jacket, clipped, some toning.

An increasingly scarce set to find in Near Fine condition, Alexander's most famous work and the series that coined the phrase High Fantasy.

Set measures approximately 6 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches by 5 inches, including all five books.
