Extremely scarce and highly collectible, early 1950s first UK edition set of Tolkien's epic trilogy, The Lord of the Rings. Highly sought after by collector's, especially with the original slipcase. This set is the corner piece to any Tolkien collection. A solid investment. Books, dust jackets and original publisher's slipcase are in Very Good condition with normal signs of wear. All maps are in tact and in Very Good condition in the back of each book, as published.  Additional photos can be provided upon request.
