Extremely rare and collectible, uncorrected publisher's proof or advance reading copy of one of Roald Dahl's most famous books. Wonderful illustrations by Quentin Blake. Book was published in London by Jonathan Cape Ltd in 1983. These rare publisher proofs were printed ahead of the first edition, first printing books to test the market and help inform how many first printing books the publishers would print. Book is in Very Good condition with normal signs of wear, some edge and corner wear, some light cover wear, light toning to pages from age, no previous owner markings.
